I'll overwhelm 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
